Flying back home

A hectic day in Multan, and now a flight back to Karachi with a stop over in Sukkur another city I haven't been to in a decade or more. Must come here soon.

Multan was an overwhelming experience. The Loose Ends Pakistan get together turned out amazingly. Almost 50 people showed up. 3 hated me and everything I said. I'm sure they had some reason. The rest were an amazing lot. I just hope we have managed to touch a few hearts and change a few lives. Pictures on the loose ends forum.

Met some amazing people. Anila and her family were as hospitable as any host could ever be, and more. They were kind, loving, and just simply fantastic people. Her mother is a great cook and we obviously over ate.

Maria. What can I say. She was the driving force behind the whole effort. But much more than that, a lovely gentle soul.

Unfortunately due to lack of time we couldn't visit many sites. But those we did manage were great. Pictures soon on my personal website faisalqureshi.com. The sites we missed give us a reason to return. But more than the sites we hope to return very soon to this lovely city for the lovely people we met today.

Unfortunately Umar and Saif couldn't be here today, and were terribly missed.

On that note I must close my sleepy eyes and try to catch a quick snooze before we land in Sukkur. Reema is already deep asleep.
